The HEICO sport exhaust for the V70R model offers a great combination of style, sound, performance, and fit. Available in the twin-tip design, exiting in the Factory location using the OE hanger points, the 1708 system sets the bar in terms of ease of installation, fit, finish, and sound.
Much is made within the Volvo aftermarket community about oversized exhaust plumbing. Respectfully, we've not found extremely lareg diameter plumbing to be particularly effective is generating more HP without adversely effecting the car's torque curve. HEICO tests all of its systems on their own in-house MAHA dyno unit, and have found the best balance between outright performance, sound, fit, and ease of installation with the 1708 system.
The dual-tip 1708 system is a 'slip-fit' design that fits from the OE rear resonator-back, making installation straight forward, which lowers install costs. At full howl the system has a distinctive sound due to its dual tip design. At low throttle openings the HEICO system does not intrude, but in aggressive throttle openings the system comes alive to offer a deep, pleasing tone without being overly intrusive. Precisely calculated exhaust pulses factor out annoying resonance that is common of generic DIY silencers and systems built in extreme diameters. TÜV-approval assures proper fit, finish, build quality, and noise levels that pass all EU noise restrictions. Stainless-steel construction and special high-temp laquer coating assure long service life.
