H468001 HEICO SPORTIV Limited Slip Differential, M66 transmission

HEICO SPORTIV again leads the way, with a professionally developed Limited Slip Differential for the M66 transmission (P1 chassis, primarily). Front wheel drive cars, particularly powerful ones, can lose grip at the front wheels, as the front tires are handling steering and traction duties. "Torque steer" is quite common on these cars, and the only remedy in normal circumstances is to lift out of the throttle.

 

The solution to torque steer is a limited slip differential, which regulates power properly in cal conditions. This is helpful under heavy acceleration, rain, snow, and fast cornering. The HEICO diff automatically supplies power tothe wheel with the most grip, helping the car accelerate more quickly, and with more confidence, out of high speed corners.

 

The design of the HEICO LSD offers maximum traction, improves handling and steering, and puts powr where it is needed most.

 

Installation on this unit can only be handled be experienced technicians, and the time required is a commitment, so this modification is not for the casual owner. However, for higher HP cars, this is an essential component in making the car more managable at speed.
